Bluegrass Web Group (“we”, “us”) designs, builds, and maintains websites for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through bluegrasswebgroup.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: the name, email address, phone number, business name, and message you enter in our contact form.
  • When you become a client: your name, email address, and, if you share them, your company, phone number, and website address. We use these to manage your project and your account in our client portal.
  • When you sign in: your login is handled by our authentication provider, which stores your email address and password (we never see your password) and sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
  • When you pay us online: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store them. We can see payment status, amounts, and invoice history.
  • Technical information: our hosting provider automatically logs basic request details, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and running.

How we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and prepare quotes.
  • To deliver and support the work you hire us for.
  • To send invoices, receipts, and account emails such as your portal invitation.
  • To keep our site and client portal secure.

We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it to send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Cookies and tracking

Our public pages do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The client login and portal use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.

Who helps us run the site

We rely on a small number of service providers, who process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Vercel: website hosting
  • Neon: database storage for contact messages and client records
  • Clerk: client logins and account security
  • Stripe: invoices and payment processing
  • Resend: sending email notifications

We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry messages for as long as they’re useful for responding to you and following up. We keep client and billing records for as long as you’re a client and afterward as needed for tax and accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Some billing records may need to be kept for legal reasons. To make a request, send us a message through the contact form.

Children

Our services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
